Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sudo Apps LLC handles information across our websites, apps, and related services, including TokenLab, Signs, Adaptive Care, and future Sudo Apps products unless a product-specific policy says otherwise.

Overview

Sudo Apps builds focused software and tries to collect only the information needed to provide, secure, support, and improve each app. The information we handle depends on which app you use, which features you choose, and whether you contact us for support.

Some apps may work mostly on your device. Other features may need cloud sync, AI processing, customer support, analytics, crash reporting, or app-store services. When an app offers more specific controls or notices, those in-app notices apply alongside this policy.

Information We May Collect

  • Contact and support information. If you email us, join a waitlist, send feedback, request support, or participate in a survey, we may collect your name, email address, message content, attachments, and related communications.
  • App content and settings. Depending on the app, this may include lesson progress, saved playground experiments, model configurations, prompts, checkpoints, reminders, notes, birth chart details, health or wellness entries, transcripts, or other content you choose to create or store.
  • Device, diagnostic, and usage information. We may receive app version, device type, operating system, language, performance information, crash logs, feature usage events, coarse location inferred from IP address, and similar technical data.
  • Purchase and subscription information. If you buy or subscribe through an app store, we may receive transaction status, product identifiers, renewal status, refund status, and receipt validation data. We do not receive your full payment card number from the app store.
  • Connected services and third-party sources. If you choose to connect another service, import data, or use a cloud or AI feature, we may receive information needed to operate that integration.

Sensitive Information

Some Sudo Apps products may involve sensitive categories of information. For example, Adaptive Care-style features may involve health, medication, appointment, audio, or transcript data. Signs-style features may involve birth date, birth time, and birth location. TokenLab-style features may involve prompts, experiment notes, and saved model-building runs.

We use sensitive information only as needed to provide the feature you choose, maintain safety and security, comply with law, or with your permission. Avoid adding information that is not needed for the app feature you are using.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, personalize, sync, and maintain app features.
  • Save progress, settings, checkpoints, reminders, and preferences.
  • Respond to support requests, bug reports, and feedback.
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, trials, refunds, and receipts.
  • Debug crashes, measure performance, and improve reliability.
  • Protect users, prevent abuse, secure our services, and enforce terms.
  • Develop new features using aggregated or de-identified information.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

AI, On-Device Processing, and Cloud Features

Some features may run on your device. Other features may send content to Sudo Apps servers or service providers so we can transcribe audio, run AI features, sync data, generate results, or provide support. The app experience should make clear when a feature requires network access or a connected provider.

Unless we clearly tell you otherwise and ask for any required consent, we do not use your personal app content to train third-party foundation models. We may use aggregated, de-identified, or diagnostic information to improve product quality.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information in the limited ways described below:

  • Service providers. Vendors that help with hosting, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, AI processing, email, customer support, security, and similar operations.
  • App stores and payment platforms. Apple, Google, or other platforms may process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, reviews, and account-level controls under their own terms.
  • Legal, safety, and security. We may disclose information if needed to comply with law, protect rights, investigate abuse, prevent harm, or secure our services.
  • Business transfers. If Sudo Apps is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your direction or consent. For example, when you export data, share content, connect a service, or ask us to send information somewhere.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the app, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, and keep backups. Retention periods vary by app, feature, and data type.

You may be able to delete some information directly in the app. You can also contact us at hello@sudoapps.com to request deletion, subject to legal, security, backup, and operational limits.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Use app settings or device settings to control permissions such as notifications, microphone, health data, location, or analytics where available.
  • Unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the instructions in those messages.
  • Request access, correction, export, deletion, or restriction of personal information by emailing hello@sudoapps.com.
  • Use app-store controls for purchases, subscriptions, refunds, family sharing, and platform privacy settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of certain sales or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. We will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law.

Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Sudo Apps, contact us at hello@sudoapps.com so we can review and delete it where required.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use strong device security and avoid sending sensitive information through channels that are not intended for it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate. Your continued use of our apps after a policy update means the updated policy applies to future use.
